Friday magazine recently reported about the Nike Terminator Low, American Soccer League Pack. “As a tribute to the American Soccer League which lasted a bit over 50 years since 1933, Nike’s relentless pursuit in re-introducing the hall of fame had finally out-done itself simply by placing the name of a soccer team on a pair of basketball shoes. Finally! For those of you unfamiliar with Uniqlo, they are basically the Gap of Japan, but in a good way, their products and quality are better than anybody else in that sector. Like they would crush GAP. Lots of really good quality clothes at really cheap prices. Clean and simple, high quality, no frills: just the way I like it. So anyways, this September the SOHO VICE store will become Uniqlo @ Vice. They’ve picked out the best items from their fall line to showcase at the Vice store on Lafayette before opening their official Uniqlo stores across the US. Thanks to ASF for the heads up.

So we had a look at the Polkadot Kaws Bapestas yesterday, today we find an article from Friday magazine with some more info on them and a couple more colorways. It seems as though they are ‘Pop Art’ Kaws Bapestas inspired by the dot pattern comic art of Roy Lichtenstein! It mentions Silver Bullets…Silver Bullet Comics? Interesting to see Bape getting so deep into the comic scene. Nice to see them taking a new direction as well; getting away from all the patent leather. via Kix-Files.
