The John Maeda x Mekanism skatedecks will be releasing on Friday, October 28th in Paris. Only 100 of these decks were produced with 20 of them being signed by John Maeda himself. The invitations to the release party can be downloaded at LA MJC and if you can’t make it, get it online at JRQJD starting October 29th, 2005.

Nike keeps up their good job on doing retro shoes and here is a fine example. Once again, they have taken the Air Epic to another new level by using suede. The combination of the material and colorway is very eye catching. Releasing in early November. From Chapter World.

New Balance presents Region which is the new campaign in the UK. It focuses on the fact that they’re manufacturing locally and selling for the local market (40% of production sales in Europe).
New Balance is one of the last sneaker manufacturers in the UK, producing over 28 000 pairs of shoes a week from their factory in Flimby.

“Nissan collaborated with the well-known athletic company to create this 159-inch-long (13.3 feet), 1.5-liter study whose stated purpose is to have a “wearable” exterior and interior. The grille, the bodysides, and the wheels mimic the bottom of a tennis shoe. Inside, durable, colorful sportswear fabrics and rubber materials have been applied to the doors and the instrument panel, and the enameled glove box is opened and closed with a zipper.”
