So i bought my Canada Goose Chiliwak today, brand new in the bag still, when i got it home i noticed that the fur was great and uniform until it got to one side of the hood where it was short and not fluffy, is it normal for them to be dis per portioned?? tongueface

packaging has probably flattened it down, give it a few wears for it to fluff out.

maybe gently combing it out to see if it fixes it?

yeah i know it real fur. Mines pretty uniform but i have two "bangs" that are alot longer than the rest of the hood. everyones fur is unique because it is real coyote fur but in your case It might be a defect? I've heard many cases where the fur is flattned by packaging and wont fluff up until brushed

yeah i would suggest you post pics first before doing anything drastic.

but lol it is true though that everyones fur is unique. each fur comes from a diffrent coyote after all

i despise people wearing fur because nowadays, a lot of the suppose FOX fur and such, is actually dog fur. companies are cutting costs where it is needed, and when a lot of the fur looks basically the same, they would definitely do it. have fun wearing someone's dog around your neck.

If they are different lengths I would return it. On my jacket sometimes when it is wet the fur gets matted down to one direction, but when it dries it usually comes back to normal. If I $600+ for the CG jacket and the fur was different lengths, I would return it for another one. my 2cents.

not for canada goose, only time where a CG jacket would have dog fur is if you buy a fake. plus CG isnt your average mall brand.

it depends on the model, but they do fit pretty snugg. i suggest going true to size. trying one in store is your best option

Expedition: size one down. They're not supposed to be small, but still.. They're also wide as hell.
