I agree that a cheap netbook would work best since it is really lightweight. I was between that or a Macbook Pro. I got the MBP 13 inch, but it became a replacement to my 5 year old computer. I use it to run Final Cut Pro and other resource-heavy programs. Get a netbook for under 300 and use Evernote. It has helped me take notes so much.
