December 04, 2009 @ 21:44:26
^^That's pretty nice. What's the specs?

When I get a real job I'm gonna build me a gaming PC.
December 04, 2009 @ 22:24:26
Intel Core i7 920 4Ghz
OCZ Gold DDR3 1600 3x2gb
Sapphire HD5850
Corsair HX750W
Lian-li PC-A71B
WD Black Raid 0 2x500GB
WD Black 1TB
December 05, 2009 @ 18:35:28
thats awesome, i personally prefer AMD though (mainly because of intel cost and im a kid)
December 07, 2009 @ 05:38:08
I wanna get into the whole building computer thing any tips?
December 07, 2009 @ 08:50:22
usually its good if you have someone in real life to help you decide on parts on help you build it

like my dad used to build them so thats how i know how
December 08, 2009 @ 10:24:25
all you need is a pretty good idea of each part in the computer, then it's just like puttin legos together
December 08, 2009 @ 16:43:40
new build i'm about to do:

ASUS P7P55 Deluxe Motherboard &
Intel Core i7 860 Processor
8GB Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Video Card (X2)
Intel 160GB Solid State Drive
Lite-On Blu-Ray Combo
Lite-On Internal DVD Writer
Thermaltake VH600LBWS Armor+ Full-Tower ATX Case with Liquid Cooling
Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB Hard Drive 7200rpm
Linksys WMP600N Dual-Band Wireless-N PCI Adapter
Ultra X3 ULT40070 1600-Watt Power Supply
December 08, 2009 @ 17:52:08
im looking into the armor+ also.

and how is solid state drive VS. WD Raptor?
December 09, 2009 @ 11:13:56
raptor's a waste of money
u can get similar performance with raid 0 for less money and you get more storage

and why u gonna get a couple 295's when u can get a couple 5970's that run cooler and faster with dx11 instead
December 09, 2009 @ 13:51:21
not a big ATI fan and the nvidia card i chose can do the just job just as well or even better imo
December 09, 2009 @ 18:00:29

you sure?
December 09, 2009 @ 18:51:52
like i said i'm good with my choice for now
December 09, 2009 @ 18:52:53
and cause the 5970 is soo much money

i remember when the EVGA 285's were 1200$ each last year
December 09, 2009 @ 18:56:05
well the 295's are about $500+ but are beginning to be sold out everywhere..the main reason too that i don't want the ati card because i don't want an amd processor
December 09, 2009 @ 20:35:52
i hate ati, i always use nvidia, and AMD is only SLIGHTY worse than Intel and at about 1/3rd of the price
December 09, 2009 @ 21:16:03
u dont need an amd processor to run an ati card..
December 10, 2009 @ 15:08:05
that's what i've been saying. i'm going intel so the nvidia 295 is the top card we have right now so that's what i'm getting i don't want an AMD processor
December 11, 2009 @ 10:38:17
oh you don't? i always thought so...maybe i just might look into it now
December 17, 2009 @ 02:45:12
December 17, 2009 @ 13:49:06
i fell in love with that case from day 1 until recently when i saw the $800+ price i was like hell naw
December 17, 2009 @ 15:32:42
lol yeah still not as bad as zalmans heatpipe case. i think its msrp was 1400?

did anyone used to mod their cases? I used to. simple shit like making windows and lights and extra fan ports, painting. but nothing hardcore like making theme cases or just make one from scratch
December 18, 2009 @ 19:33:49
nah i'm def. not good with my hands like that
December 19, 2009 @ 03:13:08

December 19, 2009 @ 08:54:20

December 19, 2009 @ 11:29:12

December 19, 2009 @ 12:32:35

December 19, 2009 @ 14:07:16
