Update on the desk and life after the desk in case you want to know:
In case i didn't mention it, got a A+ in the class as well as great recommendation letters to get into my future masters program (interaction design). Im living in Europe now for the year (Porto, Portugal) and am working as a lead designer for a decor/furniture company. Cant make the desk because it is ridiculously expensive with the custom mechanism so i guess it will forever be a one-off prototype. Other than furniture, I started my own company, im doing jewelry, websites, logos, custom wallpapers for interior designers and its a lot of fun.
