Gucci Debuts Love Parade Campaign Featuring Snoop Dogg, Jared Leto and More
The show that shut down Hollywood Boulevard.
Last November, Alessandro Michele took over Hollywood Boulevard in a star-studded, exclusive Gucci presentation to show off the “Love Parade” collection. Honoring the golden era of Hollywood, the Italian designer recruited stars the likes of Macaulay Culkin, Miranda July, Steve Lacy and more to walk the runway in dazzling ’70s-inspired evening wear.
In preparation for the launch of Gucci’s latest collection, the Italian luxury house has dropped a new campaign featuring Snoop Dogg, Jared Leto, Miley Cyrus, Lee Jung-jae and more. Gucci’s muses and ambassadors came together for a Hollywood night out that consisted of dancing and feasting in a never ending fantasy. Eclectic mashups of colors, textures and patterns were captured by famed fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot under the creative and art direction from Michele and Christopher Simmonds.
Gucci’s campaign stars were dressed in Michele’s retro-glam pieces, including wide-lapel suiting featuring velvet bow ties, boudoir-esque silk slip dresses and floral pattern-inspired jackets. Leto graces the campaign in a soft pink, double-breasted satin suit rounded out with various floral corsages while Cyrus surfs the crowd in patterned lace black-thigh highs with a matching bra and a fur white jacket.
