Professional football player Richard Sherman has been playing for the Seattle Seahawks since he was drafted back in 2011. Playing as cornerback, Sherman’s accolades include the most interceptions and defended passes of any active player since entering the NFL. When he’s not on the field, Sherman acts as a contributing editor for The Players’ Tribune, and this week he sits down to let us know which players he always looks forward to lining up against with on Sundays. Always wanting to challenge himself, here’s who made the list. To take a look at Sherman’s full piece, head over here.

Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons
“Julio Jones can basically do everything (…) He’s a blue-collar player. He doesn’t take plays off. He doesn’t jog on decoy routes. He runs every route at max effort, even when there’s a 100% chance he’s not getting the ball (…) He’s a guy who can wear you down over the course of a game.”

Brandon Marshall – New York Jets
“Brandon Marshall is one of the hand-fighting greats. He will use his hands really well to pull or push to gain separation — sometimes pushing guys to the ground because he’s so strong (…) Brandon is still probably one of the most underrated receivers in the game.”

Larry Fitzgerald – Arizona Cardinals
“He understands the timing of the quarterback’s drop, the timing of the route, the timing of the play and the coverage that the defense is in. And at the line of scrimmage, he has a plethora of tricks and moves — head-fakes and stuff like that — that help him get separation (…) He does a lot of his damage within the route instead of just at the line or out of his breaks.”

A.J. Green – Cincinnati Bengals and Antonio Brown – Pittsburgh Steelers
“Antonio Brown is creative with his speed. He’s deceptive. He uses his acceleration and deceleration very uniquely. That’s what allows him to get so open. A.J. Green is another receiver who varies his speed to great effect. But he can also jump out of the gym.”

Doug Baldwin – Seattle Seahawks
“I honestly believe he’s one of the best receivers in the game (…) Doug is guy who continues to push the envelope. Every day, he is looking for a new move, a new release, or a new way to delay the timing of his route. It takes incredible footwork to do that, but also a tremendous amount of discipline and athleticism.”
