We’ve watched all the entertaining freestyles and cyphers from the XXL‘s 2016 Freshman class, but now, the publication has shared a roundtable interview with Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Kodak Black, 21 Savage and Denzel Curry. The young rappers talked about the type of music they make, how they deal with their fans, what their goals are and pet peeves they have about the industry. Denzel Curry had a few things to say about disloyal fans: “People that support you, they’ll support you regardless, even if you go to jail. Fans, they’re quick to turn on you. I’ve seen that sh*t happen to a lot of n*ggas.” Lil Uzi Vert adds to that sentiment: [With] the industry, you don’t really know who rock with you, everybody act like they rock with you ’cause you hot.” Watch the video above.
