Tommy Brown featuring Travi$ Scott & Eric Bellinger - Trippin' On Me

Tommy Brown is probably best known for his songwriting work for the likes of Chris Brown, Ariana Grande and others, but the multi-talented singer-songwriter is now attempting to branch out on his own. Brown has repackaged and re-released an older effort entitled “Trippin’ On Me,” adding Travi$ Scott and making some slight tweaks to the Eric Bellinger-assisted original. Speaking on today’s release of “Trippin’ On Me,” Brown gave FADER the following statement breaking down the song’s background:

“Being around them [Travi$ Scott & Eric Bellinger] both early in their career and knowing they were both artists starting from ground zero, focused on what they were doing but coming from opposite worlds, I thought it would be cool to bring those two together and work on an idea that would mess people up.”

Tommy Brown’s latest comes after a productive year for the LA-based artist, who managed to secure writing credit and placements on several big-name offerings in 2014. Last year, Brown worked on songs such as Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko’s “Drunk Texting,” T.I. and Skylar Grey’s “New National Anthem,” and four songs on Ariana Grande’s sophomore album.
