With his contribution to hip-hop classic album such as Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle, two solo albums and his work on the hooks and bridges of songs by artists like Eminem, Ludacris and 50 Cent, Nate Dogg cemented his status as one of the most sought-after voices in hip-hop. TV One is paying their respects to the artist, who passed away in 2011, in the shape of a 30-minute episode of their Unsung documentary series, which chronicles the life of the Long Beach native. The documentary sheds some light on Nate Dogg’s origin and family. Watch it above.
