Silicon Valley-based visionary cycling brand Vintage Electric has released the “CRUZ,” a custom E-bicycle. The limited edition high-performance bike runs on a 52-volt battery that can last over 30 miles a ride, and can be fully charged within two hours. With a design inspired by the American Art Deco movement, the bicycle features a sandcast aluminum battery box, powerful LED lighting, a Phil-Wood front hub, a cast pewter name badge, a regenerative braking system with Shimano “Alfine” hydraulic disk brakes, and a Brooks leather saddle and grips. The “race mode” enables the bike to reach a maximum speed of 36mph. The “CRUZ” is offered in three custom colors: in either a “Cola,” “Fiesta,” and “Aqua” base, and with a stained alder wood frame inlay and metal detailing. The Vintage Electric limited edition “CRUZ” E-Bike is releasing with a limited production run of 50 models and can now be purchased online at a first-come, first-served basis for $4,995 USD.
