J. Cole’s new video for “Wet Dreamz” might be based in the stereotypical hip-hop video location, complete with palm trees, luxury buildings and beach scenes, however, this is unlike any other rapper’s video. While he’s known for his storytelling flow, Cole and director Ryan Staake took the puppy love-themed track, from his latest album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, quite literally. In the coming-of-age storyline, Cole verbally illustrates the main characters as two puppies in the same cautious quest as their owners. Watch it above.
