As adidas’s recently-released Pure Boost silhouette is supposed to represent the pinnacle of sport, it’s only fitting that Yohji Yamamoto‘s Y-3 imprint would create its own rendition of the modern classic. The brand surprisingly unveiled the luxe whited-out Yohji Boost to its online audience recently. The Yohji Boost takes a more sophisticated approach to the runner while maintaining a carefree summer aesthetic, executing the shoe with a full mesh upper, embossed detailing on the tongue, and premium suede at the back counter. Limited to 500 pairs and priced at $280 USD, look for these to hit Y-3 retailers in mid-June.
