Founded by Guillaume Philibert in 2009, Filling Pieces was originally intended as a way to bridge “the gap between haute couture and street couture,” and to fill in the holes in our sneaker closets. Lately, however, the Amsterdam-based brand has us coveting more of its kicks than we could possibly need with an expanded range of stylish designs. New for Spring/Summer 2014 is a riff on Filling Pieces’ original Low Top silhouette featuring gradient pattern perforations in a duo of versatile colorways. Simple, yet luxurious, each pair is handmade in Portugal from a combination of nubuck, leather and vulcanized soles, and includes familiar details like the label’s distinctive, padded heels and tongues. Filling Pieces’ Spring/Summer 2014 Low Top Gradient Pattern Perforated Sneakers are available now at the HYPEBEAST Store.
