Nice Kicks x New Balance 1600 "Grand Anse"

Texas-based sneaker blog Nice Kicks has teamed up with New Balance for another stylish take on a retro runner. Based on the streetwear favorite CM1600 silhouette, the sneaker is jam-packed with a slew of details. Maintaining a predominately blue aesthetic as a nod to the Caribbean beach paradise that founder Matt Halfhill hails from, the sneaker features hues of blue in mesh and nubuck, alongside contrasting grey leather overlays. Standout details include perforated holes at the mesh areas for added ventilation, the sea gravel-inspired tongue, and the special speckled laces. All of this rests atop New Balance’s proprietary Abzorb midsole in white with blue accents and blue rubber outsole. Stay tuned for more and in the meantime head over to Nice Kicks.
