This time channelling themes from early 20th century photography, Korean contemporary label Munsoo Kwon delivers its lookbook for Fall/Winter 2014. The label took direct inspiration from W. Eugene Smith’s 1946 “The Walk to Paradise Garden” photo, interpreting the hope of two children into a range of dapper apparel. Materials like soft alpaca and brushed wool are applied to draping jackets and cargo pants, maintaining the dandy-esque aesthetic driving the line. Vintage patterning like tartan and buffalo checks give a lighthearted, playful touch to these dark-hued garments, notable on sharp shirts and extended blazers.
