IMALU x MINMI x VERBAL x Kiehl's "Gives for Japan" Moisturizer
IMALU, MINMI and VERBAL all chip in to release a special limited-edition set of Kiehl’s Cream UFC
IMALU, MINMI and VERBAL all chip in to release a special limited-edition set of Kiehl’s Cream UFC moisturizer as part of Kiehl’s “Gives for Japan” campaign, which raises funds that go towards those affected by Japan’s devastating earthquake and tsunami back in 2011. Each of the three artists contributed a personal design for the moisturizing cream containers in the set. IMALU opted for a kid-friendly sunglassed rabit rooting for Team Tohoku (the affected region) while VERBAL shows some literal love, echoing the heart graphic he produced for Ambush’s Nomad collection. Lastly, Japanese reggae artist MINMI opts for a more classic design with the use of a sunflower.
This latest set of special edition charity releases from Kiel’s is due at all of it’s Japanese stores on October 18 with ¥100 JPY from each purchase going toward building Fukushima Indoor Park, a facility designed for the children of Fukushima who are in need of a safe place to play. As an added bonus and to further generate publicity for the campaign, both MINMI and IMALU will play manager at Kiehl’s Ginza branch for a day each on October 4 and 11, respectively.
