Audi has debuted the Sport Quattro concept ahead of an in-the-flesh unveiling at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show. The concept pays homage to the now 30-year-old Audi Quattro rally car and builds upon the styling cues of the Audi Quattro concept seen a few years ago. Powering the Sport Quattro concept is a hybrid powertrain consisting of a twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor which combine to produce 700 horsepower. All that power translates to a 0-62 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 189 mph. Even with all that performance, the Sport Quattro will still do a frugal 94 miles per gallon and can go 31 miles on electricity alone.
