Awake is a new project by Angelo Baque — better known as Supreme‘s marketing director, as well as the manager of now-defunct brand Nom de Guerre. A man of eclectic tastes and talents, Baque infuses Awake’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection with what appears to be his wardrobe of choice – a mixture of traditional menswear, streetwear and ’90s athletic style. Seen here in the label’s new lookbook are combo shirts in prints and solids, chinos, camouflage anoraks, hoodies and graphic tees — garments that, come to think of it, might just draw in a few of the Supreme faithful. Look for Awake’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection now at SHIPS JET BLUE in Japan and stay tuned for any news of a wider release.
