Following the release of Engineered Mesh and OG editions in recent months, the iconic “Neon” colorway of the Nike Air Max 95 returns as the subject of a collaborative release alongside Japan’s mita. Based on an unreleased sample from designer Sergio Lozano that was featured in the now defunct streetwear publication Boon Magazine, the mita x Nike Air Max 95 “Prototype” sees the typically white laces, lining and neoprene tongue all done up in black while “UENO” appears embroidered on the inside of the shoe – a nod to the location of mita’s Tokyo storefront. The “Prototype” is now available in-store and online for ¥16,800 JPY (approximately $179 USD).
