The official nominations for The 56th GRAMMY Awards were announced last tonight during a live concert at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. We’ve put together the list below and overall, it seems to be a big year for hip-hop. Jay Z leads the way with nine nominations, while Macklemore, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar are all up for seven. Drake has five and Miguel, Daft Punk and Lorder are also some top nominees. The festivities take place on Sunday, January 26 airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Stay tuned.
