RoboCop Official Trailer #2

Sony Pictures present the second official look at the upcoming RoboCop reboot. With Brazilian director José Padilha at the helm, the upcoming remake of the 1987 action classic stars Joel Kinnaman as the title character. Set in the year 2028, the film sees Kinnaman’s Alex Murphy – a good cop, loving husband and caring father – transformed into RoboCop at the behest of multinational conglomerate OmniCorp as it looks to bring its controversial robotic drone technology, used overseas by the military, to American soil to better stem the tide of crime and corruption in our cities. Complete with an all-star cast that includes the likes of Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley and Michael K. Williams, Padilha’s RoboCop is set to hit theaters on February 12, 2014.
