This is a tale about the legendary ‘Flu Game’ of the 1997 Finals–Game 5–where Michael Jordan beat the flu, the Jazz, and bequeathed his own Jordans to a former Delta Center ballboy for so thoughtfully bringing him applesauce. It was a glorious win for the Bulls, and a touching tale for Preston Truman who still has those humongous size 13 shoes that no one has yet filled.
