After kicking off his four-part sit-down interview with Eminem yesterday, Zane Lowe and BBC Radio 1 now share the second installment of the two’s in-depth conversation. This time around Em speaks on producing, his love for hip-hop and also opens up about unintentionally becoming a pop star. Eminem went on to share his thoughts on how he was surprised by his debut single “My Name Is” becoming a pop hit, and went on say:
That record was almost like my anti-pop song because it was like my hello to the world, but it was my fuck you to the world at the same time. So I never understood when all that started happening like, ‘Holy shit. How did that become a pop song?
