Louis Vuitton and Yasiin Bey "The Greatest Words" of Muhammad Ali Round 2

Louis Vuitton continues its commemorative campaign “The Greatest Words” of Muhammad Ali with Round 2. Celebrating the inspirational and rhythmic words of a man who stood up for his values in the face of oppression whilst becoming one of the most revered athletes of the 20th century, Louis Vuitton enlists wordsmith Yasiin Bey and calligrapher Niels Shoe Meulman to offer a befitting tribute as only they can. Having presented Round 1 earlier in the summer which covered Ali’s famous quotes, “This kids got a left, this kids got a right…” and “Last night I had a dream…,” today we get a look at Round 2 with Meulman tracing a giant “Ali” in the ring. The two additional videos to the campaign can currently be viewed here at Louis Vuitton’s website. The first piece pays homage to an interview Ali conducted back in 1972 where he discussed life’s recipe, while the second video inspects maybe his most remembered quote, “Float like a butterfly.”
