Reinterpreting the classic ear chair motif, Copenhagen-based studio iskos-berlin recently crafted the “Bunny Chair” for furniture and homeware manufacturer Normann Copenhagen. The aptly titled chair foregoes the hard lines and rigid angles of its inspiration piece in favor of a more fluid and rounded aesthetic. Aiming to equip the new design with a degree of youthfulness and rejuvenated relevance, the designers created the Bunny Chair calling upon recollections of shapes and textures from childhood plush toys. Although the inner child inside of us may pine for the latest Normann Copenhagen Bunny Chair, it’s going to take an adult budget to get this one into the living room with the chair coming in at a retail of $4,000 USD through the brand’s online shop.
