Frank Ocean featuring John Mayer - Saturday Night Live Performance

Frank Ocean made his debut on Saturday Night Live, accompanied by famed guitarist John Mayer. Mayer, who appeared on Ocean’s most recent album, channel ORANGE, joined a group of other backing members to perform renditions of “Pyramids” and “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You.” While no live version of any piece is completely true to the album, the versions featured here shed a sensitive, personal light on the songs. Saturday Night Live, in part, is known for hosting great performances of some of pop culture’s best. That said, the combination of Ocean and Mayer’s musical sensibilities here do not disappoint.
