Essentials: Teisuke Morimoto

Today’s Essentials revolves around Teisuke Morimoto, a very busy local of Osaka, Japan. Alongside professional obligations in the realms of videography and photography, Teisuke is an exclusive distributor for high-quality cycling products from companies such as BlkMrkt and Tonic Fabrication into the land of the rising sun. On a hectic daily schedule, he deals with domestic and international clients, constantly networking with mom-and-pop bike shops to local favorite Portland Design Works across the Pacific. When he isn’t managing his products you’ll find him competing in prominent cycling races all over the world, recently placing second in the Category 3 division of the grueling national Cyclocross 2012. Concerning his possessions, one essential Teisuke is most proud of is his 1980s Land Rover Defender – a truck to which he claims is one of only a handful registered and running in Japan presently.
