In a battle of design arguably initiated by The “Other” Guys, adidas has answered remarkably well in the last few seasons. First with its adiZero soccer boot and now most recently the adiZero Crazy Light basketball shoe. This short video takes a jab at Nike’s lightweight ball offering and what it takes for it to match 9.8 oz weight of the Crazy Light. While adidas and Nike have generally played nice (unlike automotive rivals BMW and Audi), the plot will surely thicken with subsequent videos and potential retorts form Nike.
