But the good thing is, he doesn’t give a fuck what you say. And that’s the definition of a true artist. Could you imagine if Dilla listened to Q-Tip, and made his drums cleaner. or if Radiohead listened to the fans after they started experimenting with Nigel Godrich??!! All I’m saying is let him grow and find his sound.

I understand artistic expression and the need to be different and all that kinda stuff, but when do we draw the line and just say hey .. he’s a nice enthusiastic guy and he’s doin his thing, but when it comes to performing he’s below mediocre.
