I just would like to say that the more I listen to this the happier it makes me. I’ve been following marshall since the beginning and I recognize all the shit he’s gone through and for him to put himself out there on this beat with these amazing lyrics (as always) is just a testament to his amazing ability to make people empathize with his situation. That’s what his music is about. That’s why he’s so good. So stop hating. He openly admits that his last album was shit. How much better of a rapper could you ask for? Name another rapper that has been like “Yeah my last album mehh it was alright. And that accent I put on or those lyrics that I used well they sucked”. You’ve never heard that and I doubt you will. Marshall you have heart and humility don’t forget those things.

Definitely solid, and steps above Relapse. There’s a beauty to the rhymes but the fire that bore his first albums to the top of the charts isn’t there. But maybe thats not the point, the rhymes sound of a pasturing – like that of any great artist when they no longer have to tear a hole to reside within the game but decide to step above it. Here’s to stepping above the game… salute.
