Junya Watanabe x Carhartt Jacket – A Closer Look

Complete with details galore, this Carhartt jacket has been transformed by Junya Watanabe of Comme des Garcons, who has reworked a previous release. The jacket now features a woollen plaid section, camo interior, leather elbow patches and more. Available in either brown or black, this collaborative variation is thought to be limited to around 100 pieces.

    Actually it’s not a collab between Watanabe and Carhartt. Watanabe just bought 100 standard issue blanket-lined chore coats from an outlet and de- and reconstructed them as he saw fit. Probably the beginning of the end of collaborations, neh? About time maybe, as that possibility has been mined for a too long time now anyways. But I really like these though! DIY-project coming up!
