freshjive hope is fading fast tee Freshjive Hope is Fading Fast T Shirt

Freshjive’s well-researched and literature-backed social commentary continue on with the upcoming release of their “Hope is Fading Fast” t-shirt. Officially set to also usher in the new “logo-less” Freshjive, the t-shirt is a bold statement on the current (or lack therefor of) change initiated by President Barack Obama. Details of Freshjive’s own reasonings can be seen at their The World’s Got Problems column. The t-shirt will be available at select retailers at the Freshjive Reserve store in Fairfax, Los Angeles.

KLOTZ IS A GENIUS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN ONE. THAT’S WHY IVE SUPPORTED FJ FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS, THROUGH THE THICK AND THE THIN. HES DOING HIS JOB, GETTING ALL YOU LITTLE BLOG NERDS PANTIES ALL BUNCHED UP. HES JUST EXERCISING HIS FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT AND SUPPORTING SOMETHING HE BELIEVES IN. ITS REFRESHING TO SEE PRODUCTS WITH SOME SUBSTANCE, SUPPORTING HOW THE ARTIST TRULY FEELS EVEN IF ITS AN UNPOPULAR STATEMENT. HONESTLY IF I SEE ANOTHER BULLSH*T HUNDREDS CARTOON TEE OR SOME NAKED CHICK WEARING SOME KICKS ON TEE IM GOING TO LOSE IT. EVEN IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IN IT, RESPECT IT. TRUTHFULLY I BET 60% OF THE PEOPLE RESPONDING TO THIS POST VOTED FOR OBAMA PURELY ON HYPE OR BECAUSE OF THE BULLSH*T OBEY POSTER. IM NOT SAYING OBAMA CANT PULL THIS SINKING COUNTRY OUT OF ITS OWN PILE OF SH*T, F*CK I HOPE HE DOES, BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY HE ISN’T A GOD AND HE ISN’T INFALLIBLE, SO QUESTION YOUR GOV’T, STAND UP TO YOUR GOVT AND DONT GET BLINDED BY THE HYPE.

If you have any interest in news outside of the mainstream it’s likely your opinion of Obama isn’t so positive.

Anybody of moderate intelligence would know a President can’t fix a country in one year, but I am finding it hard to understand why so many people continue to defend a political figure who has not only made very little progress, but who has contradicted so many of the changes he promised to make. The first and most popular excuse for his failings is that “it takes time”, well how much time are people willing to give Obama before they even consider that maybe he ain’t as magical as his HOPE campaign suggested?

With the amount of blatantly offensive products streetwear companies produce, it’s interesting that a t-shirt featuring negative connotations toward Obama would create such an uproar. I guess it’s proof the people really do believe in Obama…

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THIS OVER IN THE UK? OR WHAT THE SHIPPING FEE IS FOR THIS ITEM? THANKS

  6. Posted by:fano on November 25, 2009 at 7:08 pm

The shirt is definitely interesting, and worthwhile purchase simply because I do think it speaks more to the icon and the propaganda of the Shepard Fairy image, than to Obama and his administration itself. But as for every other comment saying Obama has not initiated any change, I’d say his admin is doing a hell of job trying. With the current partisan government we have in place, and the republicans doing whatever they can to thwart all attempts by the dems to pass any legislation whatsoever, I think we can place much blame on our whole government. Don’t fear the health care bill; it’s the most honest law of our generation, designed to help the millions of us who earn a buck or two and deserve adequate health care without crippling costs. The fear mongers despise it because it means less money in their pockets. That’s the truth.

Tee is available Black Friday, $30.

  10. Posted by:YOYOMah on November 24, 2009 at 11:39 pm

So wack! Sometimes people want to be so anti-establishment they can’ help themselves but to be so obviously anti everything. First with the non-branding (ok? I guess, whatever, not much to pay attention to) then this, maybe you took it a lil too far like those extremist republicans that go parading around looking for an Obama birth certificate, maybe you’re showing your true colors (like those birthers), maybe your anti-cool is just plan wack, maybe you just did it to help your product stand out because you went with this idea of non/un-branding or maybe all of the above. Either way that’s some “hoe shit” Ok on some shock value shit, I guess it works, but are you really trying to make a statement here, if so I see it as a self deprecating view on America, yourself, your unbrand & lack of answers for all of it. Maybe there’s no hope for you….

I think many people miss the point and simply jump to defending anything OBAMA.
In my opinion it is questioning the HOPE campaign itself and the propaganda behind
it, namely this very iconic image. It is provocative commentary on the mounting number of Americans who dare to question and openly express there doubt in what they may have initially supported due to popular/hip culture. And that includes the art world almost unanimously. Note that the idea here is not to smear or name call but rather depict the
fading optimism many are feeling towards the OBAMA administration simply because, right or left, conservative or liberal, he is failing to deliver CHANGE everyone wants…FREEDOM, A TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT(we need little time to see evidence of this), POWER TO AND FOR THE PEOPLE, STRONG LEADERSHIP, HONESTY…

I respect FRESHJIVE for having the guts to do this t-shirt and to present it in a thoughtful and artistic way. I cannot say the same about many other clothing lines and there ANTI-ANYTHING
CONSERVATIVE OR REPUBLICAN t-shirt graphics. This is much more rebellious, intelligent and though provoking for which it should be credited.

There is nothing more ignorant and idiotic than someone (comments found below) pulling out the RACE CARD against anyone who simply questions and does not trust the current government

this t-shirt worked. just from the comment section.

  28. Posted by:Blakroc on November 24, 2009 at 6:50 pm

The fact that anyone is so deeply offended by a t-shirt is kind of sad and speaks to your character if you let that shit get you so badly. Furthermore this shirt isn’t just a critique of the lack of change. This shirt is a commentary on the fact that the masses blindly devoured every bit of Obama’s stunning rhetoric without ever acknowledging his lack of actual ideas. The messianic image which was cultivated around the president is now dissolving as people realize that simply by electing him the world wasn’t going to magically change instantaneously.

FACT: NOBODY KNOWS WHAT ANOTHER CANDIDATE WOULD / COULD HAVE DONE HAD THEY BEEN ELECTED. DEAL.

FACT: THE WORLD WAS ECLIPSED BY THE COLOR OF OBAMAS SKIN, WHICH IS GREAT BUT HIS COLOR CANT FIX THE EXISTING PROBLEMS AT HAND.

FACT: HE IS TOLD WHAT TO DO, DID YALL THINK THAT WOULD CHANGE JUST BECAUSE THE COLOR OF THE PRESIDENT HAS ?

PEOPLE NEED TO REALIZE HE DOESNT RUN THIS COUNTRY, HES JUST OUR MANAGER.

@majormarcj “PS: Who wheres freshjive anyway..”

its actually “wears” there smart guy. make sure you cut and paste from smarter people next time.

i think at its core, this is just a shirt that is playing off of the opinions of a lot of people right now. make a graphic people can relate to, for whatever reason…and they just might buy it. marketing at its finest.

but just to address the nobel prize thing. recommendations for nobel prize recipients were cast in February. A few weeks after Obama took office. How much did he really accomplish in a few weeks? Regardless…I don’t give a shit about the opinion of a bunch of dudes from sweden.

HUGE BIGUPS for freshjive on this! Amazing.

WORLDS GOT PROBLEMS campaign is super dope in my opinion.

Its a great reversal of this global progaganda that is been pushed down our throats in HOPE for CHANGE.

This is a perfect sign that people/artists are really waking up.

  36. Posted by:chris on November 24, 2009 at 5:07 pm

Sick tee. seems like people are finally catching on. the hype was simply hype and obama really never planned on changing shit. he hasn’t ended either of the failed wars you talk about, and is set to send 30 000 more troops to afghanistan. he hasn’t closed guantanamo like he said he would. has hired lobbyists even though he said he wouldn’t. Obama is continuing Bush’s policies. and all this health care bill will do is allow the government and insurance companies to dictate what sort of health care you get, which is a scary thought when you think about it. But no, Mccain wouldn’t have done anything different. he would have been a puppet for special interests, the mega corporations, and the federal reserve and other central banks just as Obama is. break out of the left/right paradigm that the majority of Americans are trapped in and you will see the truth.
By the way, Freshjive is DOPE.

imo, the tee shirt is not really taking a shot at obama, its saying that the worlds problems are so screwed up that we are losing hope. HATE ME, cheers! in order for this country to get out of this mess its to have a revolution, get congress out and we the ppl appoint everyone, congress and govt are bribed and ran by the multimillion/billion dollar companies and they give money to certain ppl to make rules, tax breaks, laws etc. and to idiots who think having another republican in office or mccain, you are f-ing stupid. the world and our country would be doomed and even more fucd up! mccain wants to go to war with the whole dam world. julian mcfly is obviously a ignorant fuc.

  41. Posted by:Kevin on November 24, 2009 at 4:23 pm

let’s call Fresh Jive’s t-shirt what is really is: an attempt from company whose clothing has long been pushed to racks at Marshall and TJ Maxx to become relevant again. I mean look at the products they are putting out: http://www.reservestoreonline.com/freshjive/20/bottoms/315/narrows-deluxe-jean-blue some osh kosh b’gosh like jeans with plaid on the inside like my son wears. C’mon regardless of what you think about the president in his first 10 months in office, this shirt just seems ridiculous! and its not like this is there first anti Obama shirt: http://www.reservestoreonline.com/freshjive/24/tees/350/wanted-t
There seems to be a certain issue they have with our president. i find it interesting there are no anti Mitch McConnell or Sam Brownback shirts but they have two attacking Obama. It is what it is. Oh byt the way are all Fresh Jive clothes made of organic materials?

  42. Posted by:jasi34 on November 24, 2009 at 3:59 pm

what!!!!! i want that shirt !!!!!

  43. Posted by:dominick on November 24, 2009 at 3:55 pm

A lot of people talking on here as if “change” is at Obama’s whim and his only. It isn’t. The process to turn change into reality is such a government clusterfark that it just can’t happen overnight. He was sworn in in January 2009, a mere 10 months ago, and his administration wasn’t fully appointed until months later (and it’s important for folks on here to know the diff between state laws and federal laws). I cannot wait for this ridiculous era of ‘entitlement’ and ‘instant gratification’ to move on to the next zeitgeist. —cheers//dom

  44. Posted by:mizzsuga on November 24, 2009 at 3:55 pm

I don’t particularly care for it but I guess appeal(much like beauty) is in the eye of the beholder. Not that this is the forum for political banter but I find it quite amusing that in one year of trying to rebuild this nation, more people are willing to put Obama’s every decision made to the fire but George W. got eight years before anyone even questioned his competency. go figure….

  45. Posted by:jimbo on November 24, 2009 at 3:44 pm

Dissent is patriotic. Question everything. These classic liberal rallying cries should remain relevant regardless of who is in power. Politics is a shady business and it is our responsibility to hold them accountable PERIOD.

  46. Posted by:majormarcj on November 24, 2009 at 3:42 pm

Well well well….less than a year goes by and you neo-cons decide to slither from the shit hole you were born from. I’ll play devils advocate and say that Obama would get a C if i were grading him. You must take into consideration he took on a recesssion, two failed wars, a failing healthcare system, auto industry meltdown, etc. No excuses are being made for him. I would like to think that any person, regardless of their political beliefs, would understand that these things take time.
I recommend that you conservatives continue to “cling to your guns and religion”..since it seems that you’ve lost complete faith in America. Its funny…i think a good portion of us so-called “libs” felt like the way you do for the last 8 years. And for the dude who said “Libs” are whiners…You conservatives have been bitching about roe vs wade for over 30 years stfu.

    PS: Who wheres freshjive anyway..

  47. Posted by:Mike on November 24, 2009 at 3:37 pm

At Dedleg: you are an idiot. How about you read any part of the bill and do your research. The health care bill is doing everything BUT going to deepend the pockets of the pharmaceutical / insurance companies (why do you think there is so much backlash to pass the bill from these corporations?). Stop trying to sound all political and shit when you know nothing. And at Hope: are you referring to Obama’s decision to increase the troop numbers in Afghanistan as following in Bush’s steps? If anything, Obama is now directing the war in the right place and leaving this Iraq bullshit. What other issues is Obama “following” Bush on? I like political debates with republicans who have sound arguments / have the proper facts to back their claims. Seems like the people on here who are pissed at Obama are pissed because mommy and daddy can’t buy them the new Supreme gear.

  48. Posted by:FDMbrand on November 24, 2009 at 3:36 pm

Don’t give up hope. In case you haven’t noticed, the Obama administration has been pretty busy trying to save America from a second Great Depression. All while navigating historic health care overhaul through Congress, and enduring historically unprecedented filibuster tactics from Republicans. Not to mention managing two inherited foreign wars. Have patience America…

  49. Posted by:Andrew on November 24, 2009 at 3:17 pm

There are a lot of people who voted for Obama so he would pulls out of Iraq, restructure the tax system, and give us universal health care. We didn’t expect him to fix everything in a year. The problem is that he’s doing a lot of the sort of shit that we thought he wasn’t going to do. He has hurt gay rights. On his watch the pace of gay marriage becoming legalized has reversed. He’s expanding involvement in Afghanistan. He and the rest of the Democrats haven’t acted strongly to pass anything and have watered everything they do down with so much compromise that we’ll be lucky if anything is different by the time he leaves office. He campaigned on change but the truth is that he and the Democrats are losing ground and getting nothing done. If the health bill passes before it is carved down to nothing, then I’ll give the guy credit. In the mean time, I’m not optimistic.

  50. Posted by:Hope on November 24, 2009 at 3:08 pm

    Julian McFly,

It’s actually been nine months, and he was elected over a year ago on the promise that he’d be able to bring about change. We’re already a fifth into his presidency, and he’s already received a Nobel Peace Prize. At some point people are going to have to stop whining that Obama hasn’t been given a chance.

Also, it’s hard to say Obama was left Bush’s mess when he so clearly doesn’t mind following in Bush’s footsteps on so many issues.

  51. Posted by:CanadianGuy on November 24, 2009 at 2:56 pm

The only people who will take a substantial loss from Obama’s health bill – are the people with enough money to mass produce these shirts….

  52. Posted by:mike on November 24, 2009 at 2:50 pm

Great tee its cool and means something. OBAMA IS AWFUL everyone was hyped up on having a black president, but he sucks and hasnt done shit for our country. mccain would have done such a better job than his dumb ass

  53. Posted by:Steve on November 24, 2009 at 2:48 pm

Well, if I saw a conservative wearing this, I’d be upset. But there aren’t any conservative hipsters (unless they have some serious identity issues), so if I saw someone wearing it I’d know they’re just upset about gay rights or some of the other things Obama put on the back burner.

Good shirt and maybe next time you’ll all vote for Nader instead of throwing away your vote for someone you can’t believe in.

“With a name like Juan McFly; how can his educational background be questioned?”

I don’t know Skelly, maybe if you got his name right, we’d agree with you. SO, how about your education? I guess it’s easier to pull a splinter out of someone’s eye than it is to pull a log out of your own.

Ignorance is bliss, and with this t-shirt we can see that quite clear.

  64. Posted by:Justin on November 24, 2009 at 12:44 pm

the bottom line is its a unique design. people hate on their opinion but then turn around and post comments on here like anyone gives a shit what you have to say. you don’t want to hear their opinion, but we all should hear yours instead. i hate how people get hung up on “oh but he walked into a bad situation,” when you probably couldn’t even name any of the bad decisions that brought the economy to where its at. people also get all preachy on how great it is to have a black president, when they whole position was that it shouldnt be about race in the first place…so why is it “horray we have a BLACK president” now? hes a dude like any other dude, only in this case hes a fantastic orator who created an enormous following. people voted for the idea, not the politics. he barely said anything on any serious issue during his campaign which people could get behind beyond his “hope for change” slogan. he did say he would fundamentally change the united states, and he is through appointing people into positions you don’t even know about…why?….cuz you don’t watch the news…you learn about politics from a handful of the posts below mine.

shake your head, tell me to fuck off, i dont care. some of the dumb shit posted on here is proof enough people have skewed views of whats going on in this country, and me talking isnt going to change that. im not here to change opinions, thats the beauty of this country. you can say what you what, and i can disagree and point out that guys like sf gov on here are retarded.

  65. Posted by:Grail on November 24, 2009 at 12:30 pm

    2. of course a president cannot make a change so quickly, but he is definintly not going to change the world in his existence either.
    3. people are counting on him because he is a different color then other presidents and because of his logo, talking and way he represents himself BUT will that really change anything in the United States???
    4. NO PRESIDENTS!

the people who are commenting saying that the tee is right on and blah blah blah are IDIOTS! Obama walked into a fucked up situation and folks expect him to reverse 8 years of dumb decisions? KILL YOURSELF! the shit will take time, and besides its only been 6 months. things take time, especially the fuck ups the last administration made.

  69. Posted by:Donald on November 24, 2009 at 11:25 am

For those of us not living in LA, will this be available for order?

  70. Posted by:dedleg on November 24, 2009 at 11:15 am

Just if a health care bill passes doesn’t mean this shirt will be made moot at all – if anything it could be proven by that. If it’s a health care “reform” that only continues to deepen the pockets of the pharmaceutical and insurance industries – just in different ways – we’re not moving in the right direction at all.

  71. Posted by:Wagoo on November 24, 2009 at 11:08 am

This is WEAK! we knew it. The danger of his campaign which was so well formulated, spoken and just performed was that the people believed him to be some kind of mosses or even worse black Jesus. but change doesn’t take 6months it might as weel take 6years! But it’s coming. Just look at the new heath reform he got acknowledged in the house.
Just remember that the most important thing is that wether it’s this half black half white hawaiian immigrant or if it was the misses Clinton, one of them as president is still a major change and a step in the right direction.

    peace

  72. Posted by:anonymous on November 24, 2009 at 11:04 am

and before all of you are so quick to applaud klotz and freshjive for being ‘brave’ and ‘trailblazing’ with his decision to no longer put the brand’s logo on his clothing, consider this. maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe, rick klotz doesn’t want his logo on tees so he can avoid the REAL bullshit that could come his way from intentionally and ignorantly prompting controversy. ever thought about that? maybe rick is only emotionally and educationally equipped to deal with the unbearable backlash found in the unbelievably literate and well-informed hypebeast comment section.

  73. Posted by:anonymous on November 24, 2009 at 10:59 am

it may be many things, but surely, we shouldn’t be giving freshjive the credit of being called a brand that is ‘well-researched’ and/or ‘backed by literature.’ if rick klotz is naive enough to believe that america’s domestic and international problems could be fixed in under a year, his understanding of the political process is laughably tenuous, at best. this is a shirt i’d expect a ‘brand’ helmed by a 16 year old to put out, in terms of both technique and degree of wit, or lack thereof. isn’t rick klotz well over 30 years old? maybe he should pick up a newspaper instead of wishing that his company still made clothes for ravers. ooooh, hey hypebeast, maybe you should look into that one.

  74. Posted by:RUP on November 24, 2009 at 10:52 am

lmao its funny how people talking crap about Obama when he came in the white house there were already a crap load of problems we already knew about. It takes time to fix problems he is not a magician plus every time he come up with an idea republicans shoot it down. I mean damn honestly i don’t like playing the race card but i feel it’s because the dude is black that why people hate on him. And yes he is black his father is black his family is black and when he was running for president everyone saw him as a black man so now when he is office don’t try to say oh he is black and white because that wasn’t the case when he was running for office. And honestly fresh jive need to stfu and stop using any little chance they can get to make a quick buck of weak material and make some real damn clothes…

  75. Posted by:KLLZ on November 24, 2009 at 10:51 am

    OBAMA SUCKS!..HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  76. Posted by:Starcasm on November 24, 2009 at 10:43 am

sf gov… STFU. Can you type? -Do you even know English?

Anyways, about the shirt.. It seems HATE, not HOPE is at an all-time high.. Freshjive is just trying to cash in on it as much as possible. Hating on trends, hating on other brands and now hating on the President!

As if going forward with a “nameless” approach to their brand wasn’t bad enough. It just goes to show how desperate they are. Truthfully, the only fools I see wearing this tee will be a bunch of racist white boys who know nothing about politics -They just want to hate simply because he’s black and the Shepard Farley haters. The idea is crazy, but stupid for trying to downplay a classic MOVING piece done by S.F.

Its only a matter of time before FJ belly’s up. -What a way to go out, out like a sucker.

  77. Posted by:weezy on November 24, 2009 at 10:01 am

all you f-ing idiots and a-holes. after that f-ing dumbfuc worst pres ever Bush fucd up our country in so many ways, no matter who was coming in after was going to have a difficult task to clean up his shyt. clinton did so much for our country, lowering the deficit, making peace and connections with the world and that racist bigot comes in and screws it all up and collects $ through the back door. white, black, obama or whoever, its gonna take time esp when you have republicans fighting against him.

  78. Posted by:johnGEE on November 24, 2009 at 9:46 am

this tee is AMAZING! i love the idea and it is true and shows the truth through art and thhats how it shouldbe!!

  79. Posted by:American Pundit Fighting on November 24, 2009 at 9:17 am

Well said ‘Schmooshenshoen’ but you have to admit it’s still a clever design.
Obama with all his hype won by being a “brand”. Any subversive, hypebeast or consumer can glorify a “brand”. By the same token there can be a backlash to a brand if it doesn’t meet expectations.

He is being treated like a brand, not as a politician. The product isn’t match the idea that was being sold. But in political terms how can it ever.

  80. Posted by:NeikaDarlin on November 24, 2009 at 9:13 am

Excuse me but Sf Gov I am goin to need you to take english class a couple more times so you can learn how to correctly try to go on the beautiful black male something you will never amount to. Anyhow..
I find this shirt offensive…please people Rome was not built in a day. I am proud to have a black president but that isn’t why Im for Obama. He is for change somethin we need in America. So stop rushin as a society to see Obama fail because he won’t and so yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on this shirt.

  81. Posted by:sf gov on November 24, 2009 at 7:24 am

a black people… why is it that you group of people needed a black man as president.. as if you guys were soo tired of a white man being president.. hey, black man. i hope you know are president still ain’t black. he’s half black & white. from hawaii. what did he do to get so presidentiaL. “he was black” like he portrayed himself as a black man. now he’s out of character. blAck people. why u not make a women president… yha’ll don’t like panties do u. POLITICS IS A CONTRADICTIVE ADVARSARY TO THE BLACK RACE. SLAVERY(you people knew yall were on a boat, and yall still tried to say the white man did it. but somehow u best the white man.) do ya’ll get it.. who was trippin about anything.. the black man… so why would he not trip about being whipped/

  82. Posted by:sf gov on November 24, 2009 at 7:15 am

that’s serendupitidioues. people are saying obama’s job is to give us jobs. hello. why would the president do anything. he’s the commander in chief of the govt. that’s always been military based. you all recognizing obama has done anything has given you all a job, a place to speak, a thought. were as, him doing his job would be what? we all were never high school president. why did the dean hire an assistant dean. why was their a dean of students. why did the principal all of a sudden not need to run afray with telling his school what he forclosed. a school’s founder has to keep tradition, until tradition is formed. ” it is president that the principles’ of these [insert race of people](a group running towards something) people turned the world. Black people were the idea behind a president, but what would he do.

Is it available by the way of internet ?

  86. Posted by:xo on November 24, 2009 at 5:41 am

I guess everyone can trade in their Obama tall tees for this one and jump on the new bandwagon.

  87. Posted by:heflys on November 24, 2009 at 5:34 am

A president’s popularity fluctuates frequently during their terms, particularly when they try to initiate some major change. Believe it or not, but people prefer presidents who, essentially, do nothing. For instance, Bill Clinton was hated at the start of his presidency, but is now revered as one of the greatest ever.

  88. Posted by:renai beast on November 24, 2009 at 4:56 am

lol it takes a bit more than a year to fix a situation as terrible as this. i wonder if FDR was facing the same ridicule at such an early stage back then? time to read up…. I ADVISE THAT MOST OF YOU DO THE SAME.

  89. Posted by:crew on November 24, 2009 at 4:54 am

Very well done! Great idea and execution. I wish Obama WAS a socialist like Independent Bernie Sanders. Unfortunately for all of us he’s not even close. He’s not even a Liberal.

  90. Posted by:B on November 24, 2009 at 4:14 am

    AMAZING! Well said!
Politics As Usual. The Obama administration is just like the rest, gained popularity with his ‘hope’ propaganda and then bullshits his way to the next election.
Making money at other peoples expense IS the american way!!!
American Politics will never change… DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

  91. Posted by:j peso on November 24, 2009 at 3:44 am

plain, and simple this is weak. “hey, the president is doing a shitty job. let’s make some money off him”

  93. Posted by:RtiFact on November 24, 2009 at 3:28 am

Hmmm, People at like this man was god when he ran for president. Hyped him up way to much when he was just as normal as the next man. Just saying the way bush left the office. I dont even think jesus himself could fix the issues obama has to deal with.

  94. Posted by:Starscr3am on November 24, 2009 at 3:25 am

You can’t keep everyone satisfied, but the Health Care bill SHOULD have been passed LONG AGO!

  95. Posted by:the what on November 24, 2009 at 3:22 am

the dude should make art not t-shirts

  96. Posted by:schmooshenshoen on November 24, 2009 at 3:19 am

“Literature based”? What the fuck? Do you even read the things you write here? This is utterly laughable.

I voted for Obama well aware that I was electing a President, who controls the executive branch, not a messiah who controls the universe.

Check your expectations, recognize that he’s done reasonably well despite walking into a shitstorm of massive proportions, and quit pretending that streetwear designers have any credibility as political commentators.

  97. Posted by:almostisnte on November 24, 2009 at 3:14 am

sanoroc. can you name 5 good things your generation’s president has done?

P.S. it’s my generation too and you need to speak for yourself.

  98. Posted by:whatta on November 24, 2009 at 3:11 am

obama isn’t doing shit. you’ll be glad you bought this in 3 years.

  99. Posted by:adriano on November 24, 2009 at 3:09 am

    hhahahahaa eat it shepard.

  100. Posted by:Sanoroc on November 24, 2009 at 2:57 am

This is ridiculous. Any president to go into office would have a terrible time trying to correct this catastrophe that George Bush left behind. The focus should be of this recession. Freshjive talks about all this other stuff on their site, all this other stuff Obama has barely took a step in, but President Obama isn’t god, he can’t fix every single thing, nobody can, not one single person at least.

I just feel a little offended. This is my generation’s president and I think they crossed the line a little bit on this one.

  101. Posted by:KiD CuDi on November 24, 2009 at 2:29 am

jon ledger was always OBAMA. heath.. that was a huxable… yall wanna hear my obama rap..

  102. Posted by:heflys on November 24, 2009 at 2:27 am

Well, if the health bill passes, and it seems it will (well, at least something), this shirt will be pretty much moot. I wouldn’t wear it.

  103. Posted by:Hart on November 24, 2009 at 2:22 am
