bape bathing ape five sta new release 1 A Bathing Ape Five Sta New Releases

Although a bit more of a Summer style sneaker, A Bathing Ape drops three different colorways in their Five Sta runners for Fall/Winter. Following a classic running shoe aesthetic, the kicks boast suede/leather combo uppers with subtle color tones. All three are now available through select Bape retail outlets worldwide.

it’s funny how people have such differing opinions, cause these are the first bapes that I have actually liked. Besides, all bapes are expensive knock-offs, so why should it come as a surprise that these are new balance knock-offs? No body seemed to care when they were pumping out a bunch of patent leather air force one pieces of crap…why so sensitive now?

    bape making these unoriginal
you saying these are knockoffs unoriginal

The white ones look like they’re from Payless. The other two colorways–while somewhat better looking–just look like NB knock-offs.

running shoes just do not provide a silhouette that lends itself to “homage” hypebeast sneakers like these. like the alife “chaser” before them, these NB 574-inspired shoes just aren’t inspired at all. further -with running shoes more than most- you’re looking for performance and not necessarily style; i doubt these offer the same comfort than the original. ps. these are so canal street looking. —– cheers//dom

Vroom: Cant you tell how original these are? These are so worth $200!

so…. what are these “loosely based” on?

Horrid. Cue lots of comments about unoriginality that spawn yet more comments from spolied rich kids who like wasting their parents money.

Bape is getting lazy with their shoe designs. This new balance look is not workin out.
