10deep fw09 part 2 lookbook 1 10.Deep 2009 Fall Delivery 2 Lookbook

You may have seen the posters (or some of your favorite blogs, posts about the posters) but the fruit of 10.Deep’s “The Outsiders” street campaign has now ripened and is ready to drop. The 10.Deep Fall Delivery 2 Lookbook is officially up. With this second delivery we see a continuation of the themes from the Fall Delivery 1 “Proud to be a Problem” campaign. “The Outsiders” collection brings the great outdoors to the city with a solid mix of outdoor and sportswear apparel. A bit more progressive than the first delivery, this group of product is a heritage inspired collection that takes cues from ’90s outdoor activewear mixing southwestern textiles with fashion-forward sportswear. Standout pieces like the Southwest Ridge flannel, Deer Hunter reversible vest, Sierra Nylon mountain parka, and Iron Clad melton wool New Era flap cap, will be defining pieces on the street this fall.

Featuring rappers Emilio Rojas (Brooklyn), Danny Brown (Detroit), Nate Fantasia and Rodrigo Lima from the 10.Deep Skate Team, and their usual cast of friends and associates, “The Outsiders” Fall Delivery 2 collection hits stores this week while the interactive lookbook can be seen here.

    HEY MR T AKA LOSER:

Point 1: If you want judge the writing of an individual, then I’d suspect you quit looking at the comments of an Internet blog (hypebeast none the less). You cant expect coherent, grammatically proper form out of any public forum on the internet. Basically, your point is irrelevant but since youre a douche (and some anon who prolly works for 10 deep), you had to point it out just to get at me. It must hurt that I said 10 deep is garbage huh? Its okay, some people will buy your 10 deep label and you will still make money.

Point 2: Where did I ever say American workwear is bad? Point is, 10 deep’s interpretation is not very good. In fact, its horrendous.

Point 3: Hypebeast in itself is not a bad blog. Its losers who worship on feet of hypebeastdom such as those who beast over the latest uninspiring crap from hundreds , 10 deep, and the ilk. So dont give me that…You should know I’m not referring to this site when I say hypebeast

Point 4: You are a moron.

  4. Posted by:T on September 30, 2009 at 8:38 pm

    KB24: a couple of points
    1. Your writing is incoherent, shut the fuck up and stop writing retarded drawn out posts
    2. Workwear is coming back as a style now, but I think more people are wowed by the presentation and interpretation of brands like 10.Deep and Supreme when they do workwear, then again there are also idiots who think modern workwear interpretations are innovative
    3. Old school American workwear is still in awesome look
    4. If you hate hypebeasts so much why are you posting on hypebeast.com?

  5. Posted by:ski bot on September 30, 2009 at 8:33 pm

You do have a good point KB……….. It’s nothing that hasn’t been done 1000 times….

  6. Posted by:KB24 is trash on September 30, 2009 at 7:23 pm

I can see you guys getting butthurt because I basically dismissed a garbage brand like 10 Deep. HAHAHAHA! It kinda goes like this now: 1: Take a style of clothing thats been around forever say for example American workwear and outdoorswear from Filson and Woolrich. 2: Have a good Fashion brand like Ralph Lauren or Supreme interpret those designs in their own way. 3. Everyone gets wowed!!! 4.Garbage brands like 10 deep follow. 5. Hypebeasts love it….

Dont get mad bc thats what 10 deep is….garbage plain and simple. I swear, do some of you work for them??? It only makes sense, seems like some of yall are personally hurt.

  7. Posted by:KB24 is trash on September 30, 2009 at 7:18 pm

You guys fail at reading comprehension. Golightly, you are a moron. Of course american workwear has been around forever. Only now, these designs are getting big in the overall industry of fashion and streetwear. Japan has been on american workwear for years. And Ralph Lauren has been on it from day one. Why do you think Woolrich, Filson, and the like is making a comeback now? With new fashion brands like Woolrich Woolen Mills (Designer arm of woolrich), Engineered Garments, and other Japan Repro brands that do it better than us has been there for the past 2 decades. Its all over the blogosphere bc its getting bigger than ever. It speaks volume of the streetwear industry when lesser garbage brands like 10 deep is following these trends because Americana workwear is huge now.

  8. Posted by:Golightly on September 30, 2009 at 5:18 pm

North America just got on workwear now? Word? So all them cats with Timbs, Dickies, acg and Carhartt back in ‘94 were, uh, imported from Japan or had no idea what they were wearing? Get off it, you’re not ’sonning’ anyone.

    solid

  11. Posted by:KB24 is trash on September 30, 2009 at 2:11 pm

And I meant to write american workwear instead of sportswear So thats my fault. But yes, you are still an idiot.

  12. Posted by:KB24 is trash on September 30, 2009 at 2:09 pm

JKenny: Spoken like true hypebeast sheep. First of all, if you dont think I make sense, then you have knowledge whatsoever because you are an ignorant moron. If you had known, traditional american work clothes (whether western styling, lumberjack, etc.) has been around forever among people who really wear it for what its made for and the japanese has been all over it as a trend the past 2 decades. Only recently, this american style clothing has taken hold of streetwear and now fashion designers (SEE GQ) in the past 5 years or so.

But of course you wouldnt know that because you are a moron who follows hypebeast blindly. Please go buy your 10 deep and Hundreds garbage. People like you make people like me look good.

  13. Posted by:JKenny on September 30, 2009 at 1:08 pm

what you just said makes no fucking sense. your trying to be smart but your just a confused fuckface. american sports style? japanese? 10 deep is sick. hype beast is not garbage. go fuck yourself and your shitty writing in the ass

  14. Posted by:KB24 is trash on September 30, 2009 at 12:36 pm

This is GARBAGE!!! Way to go 10 deep, you sure know how follow the trends. American style sportswear has been here forever and has always been worn by mostly middle ameria who generally dont give a shit about fashion, yet the fashion industry (and those japanese) have been on this “TREND” for the past decade or more. Look at your mainstream fashion magazine (e.g. GQ, DETAILS), its american sportswear is all over the place. Yet this brand, which was always pure hypebeast garbage, manages to be ‘heat’ as you kids call it despite being several years late to the party. WHAT A JOKE!!!

Some of the best presentation in streetwear by far.

I guess the whole outdoor/ nature aesthetic is here to stay for a little while, I give props to 10 Deep for doing it to some extent last season, and also for this season for doing the outdoors thing the best out of any streetwear line- (Shouts to King Stampede as well.)

Still looking to see who is going to switch it up and do something completely unexpected.

10Deep may make some cool clothes, but PLEASE do not infiltrate graffiti and street art with ADVERTISING. It’s a bad look. Reminds me of an old word… “POSER”

Just keep to what you’re good at: making clothes.
Hiring Graffiti writer’s to spray paint “10 Deep” isn’t very cool either. Trust me because I wear clothes AND I write graffiti. I will not buy 10 Deep just because I see you guys tagging. You are biting the hand that feeds you. Please do yourselves a favor and DON’T get it twisted.
