The Bapesta from last year’s SpongeBob x Bape capsule is seen here in an all new light. The shoe features the replacing the previously seen patent leather upper with croc leather. No word (most likely not) yet on a release date, but we assume these were custom joints for Pharrell.

Bape caters to an international market- with the success of the spongebob x baby milo collaboration last year, why not continue with a sick pair of sta’s… and put em on pharell? Makes sense to me. Not for everyone, but P makes them look on point. Good to see a departure from the patent leather, and the gum sole is fresh too

Guys… step back for a second… outside the “Hypebeast” world… we’re talking about SpongeBob Squarepants… the children’s cartoon! Are adults (or wanna-be adults) really supposed to wear these? really? I mean, I understand if you’re rockin’ a Taz’ tattoo and a Goofy Varsity Jacket, but besides that, speciific consumer, who would really wear these? I would expect to see these at Walmart for $35, max… in sizes 1Y – 8Y (i.e. kids sizes). Out of all the quality kicks on the market, these are humorous, at best…deplorable, at worst.

Funny how dubhead’s sentences are not grammatically correct. Maybe one should take time to read their own sentences for mistakes. If two or more clauses, grammatically complete and not joined by a conjunction, are to form a single compound sentence, the proper mark of punctuation is a semicolon.
