Before the start of this year and in a move that surprised many, all-pro wide receiver Randy Moss made the jump to Pony after having been sponsored by Jordan Brand since his early beginnings in Minnesota. The result with Pony is a full-out collection which covers all aspects from training, on-field play and off-field leisure and recovery. With future Hall of Famer Tom Brady out for the year, Moss goes from sharing the spotlight in New England to pretty much taking center stage solo which should help boost the profile of a re-emerging Pony. The collection of off-field products seen here include the Moss Trainer Mid, Moss 5.OZ Trainer and Moss Top Star Mid. Originally slated for a September 15th release, they will be available at select Pony dealers on October 15th.

[...] Recently athletes have been looking for more options as far as footwear is considered, Randy Moss made the move from Jordan to Pony last year. The two team up to present an 08 collection of sneakers that let you know they’re thinking outside the box to be honest they don’t look like the most comfortable or appealing sneakers i’ve seen this year. Besides covering all aspects from training to on and off field play, the versatility is questionable im not sure this is a sneaker you will see to often outside the locker room or off the field.  The Moss Trainer Mid, 5. Moss for president!
This is a sick line-up from PONY!

These shoes are hot! Moss was smart to leave Jordan brand and think outside of the box. At Jordan Brand he had no press and he was one of many. Now he can shine, and have an influence on his shoes. I am a fit tester, and these shoes are all top grade quality. The 5. OZ are a sockless shoe that is very comfortable and convenient, because you can just slip them on. The Moss Trainer is my favorite, because it is rugged and stylish. Cop these at your local Footlocker in two weeks, you will be surprised!

center stage? i’d say a tantrum/implosion is on the way. with brady gone, moss won’t get the ball and his stats are falling to mediocrity.

the blue ones are fresh, but both gray ones are kind of lame, especially the low top ones
