The king of guerilla street art, Banksy (or rather himself and his crew) has repeatedly received acclaim for his witty and often legitimate commentaries pertaining to both the current political and economic states. Not only churning out street-level work, the anonymous British artist has additionally delved into the areas of film, sculpture, hard copy publication, canvas, and of course his widespread and derisively cheeky public installations. “Better Out Than In” was Banksy’s most comprehensive campaign in several years as he took over New York City over the course of one month. One of his most notable acts was the sale of authentic Banksy pieces by a street vendor while clueless pedestrians missed the opportunity at acquiring legitimate artwork.
