visvim is a Japanese streetwear label founded in 2000 by Hiroki Nakamura. The brand was famous for its iconic FBR moccasin shoe and since it became a cult classic. visvim has also expanded into several diffusion lines, such as the Social Sculpture denim line, its Folk footwear line launched in 2008, the WMV womenswear line Nakamura designs with his wife Kelsi, as well as a conceptual menswear line called F.I.L. Indigo Camping Trailer. visvim frequently marries artisanal handmade craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology, as well as labor-intensive hand finishes, thus limiting the supply and driving up the price and exclusivity of its products.
