Visvim front-man Hiroki Nakamura has unveiled a preview of the latest collection from Visvim titled the Folk Series. This first preview features a pair of mocs which in some ways look like a raw version of the FBT. The components of this model include an unfinished and coarse suede upper and much thinner sole. No word yet on availability.
Select pieces from Visvim’s 2007 Fall/Winter Collection will release side by side with bags previously featured a few days ago. These items include the Fluxus 01 Black Damaged denim, Kodiak Paclite jacket, Ketchikan Paclite jacket and the Single Scoop Border Hoodie Full-Zip. A solitary accessory release includes a Cashmere Knit Tam. Available November 17th at F.I.L. Hong Kong.

A glimpse of Visvim’s extensive range of footwear finds a wide variety of different styles. Among the latest release from Visvim is the Serra Talkeenta hiking boot. Visvim has re-worked and perfected piece of the traditional hiking boots. PVC heel cup, drastically reduced weight and improved cushioning are among the revamped characteristics. Three colorways are available, black, sand and brown.

Visvim bags have often represented some of the best bags out there for the urban assault. Combinations of durable materials and high quality production have made a fan among many. Hong Kong’s F.I.L. are set to release a series of bags later this week. These include the Ballistic 20 Pack, the Ballistic E-Cat and the new release of a more suitably sized Ballistic E-Cat 18. The Global Line has often been associated with a collection of products which emphasize a more liberal approach and stray from the traditional roots which has made Visvim such a powerhouse in recent memory. This Kiefer Hi 2-Tone includes a sand-colored suede and leather upper with four different colors available such as black, green, red and navy blue. Available now through the hnyee.store.
Visvim will be releasing a new series of items later this week at Hong Kong’s F.I.L. shop. The definitive highlight of this release is the Elemdorf Gore Windstopper jacket. Featuring distressed leather, the jacket incorporates the best of both worlds by combining classic stylings with the technical features of Windstopper. Other releases include the Welded Oneida L/S shirt utilizing high quality Sea Island cotton, Fluxus 02 Indigo Damaged denim, UK Commander 2 Border sweater and a Basic Rucksack / Hexagon backpack. The releases includes a solid roster of outerwear and sweaters which include the Bickle Fleece Vest, the Pauline Hoodie Full-Zip Raglan (made with Giza45 Cotton), the UK Commando sweater, Single Scoope Border Tee L/S and the Tropical Combat Jacket.
