The Rugged Museum

The Rugged Museum has updated with some new merchandise on their site. We also came across some dope picturesof their location, transporting you back in time to a place where everything was made of raw materials like iron and wood. Their inspiration again is the glory years of the 40’s and 50’s. Like in the case of Red Wing, we see models that have stood the test of time, and we can learn about other garments with humble military beginnings. It’s not all about MA-1s and M-65s here, we see a lot of Navy wear, Gentleman’s hunting pieces, and a lot of reference to Steve McQueen, a true OG. Steve can be seen wearing a variant of the MA-1 in “The Great Escape” and his cut-off raglan sweats. The boundaries between fashion and collector’s items have been rubbed out, and we take for granted the quality and style of pre-hiphop America. Check out pics of the the revival of the good old days after the jump.
