In a collaboration of epic proportions, Staple Design and camera brand LOMO have collaborated on a project encompassing a large 1,000 picture book and the Colorsplash camera. The whole project is driven by the theme of Chakras, also known as energy centers located at major human nervous system points. Various colors of Chakras each maintain their own meaning and the Colorsplash camera will have an interchangeable flash filter (for more info check out it out here to reflect certain moods and feelings. Aside from the camera, the aforementioned 1,000 page book features a cast of 11 established photographers alongside numerous other amateur photographers. The launch date for this package is set for Thursday, June 19th with a special reception taking place at Reed Space.

A colorful assortment of Head Porter bags are on the horizon coming under the influence of Staple Design and resulting in the Prism collection. Although the preview shots reveal little, an interesting graphic features the Head Porter logo and the Staple Design chair icon together with an addition sign. The Pigeon Dunk which was designed by Staple Design could be considered one of the most infamous sneakers in the sneaker culture due it the riots it caused in New York when it was launched. Staple Design will once again be using the “Pigeon” colorway on a new sneaker he is developing with New Balance. Utilizing the New Balance 575 model, this sneaker features a grey/pink/white colorway as well as a pigeon embroidered on the back heel. Unfortunately there is yet actual pictures of the shoes but for now, enjoy this catalog preview.

The Levi’s Artist Series is a project between Levi’s and different designers and artists from around the world. The first artist that Levi’s worked with was with Matzu MTP, a Japanese artist which mixes traditional Japanese techniques with urban American inspirations to create something unseen before. The second artist that Levi’s worked with was KAWS, an artist from New York that is considered one of the most well known graf artist in the world. Lastly, Levi’s gotten together with jeffstaple from Staple Design to create the 3rd installment from this series. Here is a sneak peek at the denim which will release sometime mid November.
