New for the upcoming season, Adamu Chan’s Red Clay has set the wheels in motion for his upcoming Red Clay black label. With a focus on detailing, quality and fitting, the spin-off looks to cater to the higher end. This new label Black Label compliments his existing label which focused on a combination of 60s and 70s jazz music with the concept of outerspace.

San Francisco label Red Clay has recently hit stores around the world with their 2007 Fall Collection. Inspired in part by the 1920s and 1930s Art Deco design movement, this line offers up an interesting array of designs which features the use of crystalline and jumbled shapes. Seen here are the Butters Zip Hoodie, View from Above available in crewneck & hoodies, Lifeline M-65 inspired jacket, Hunting jacket and the In Our Lifetime hoodies & snap-backs. All the hoodies and crew necks are produced with heavy weight materials and Made in Canada. The Lifeline and Hunting jacket utilize durable fabrics which ensure long-lasting wear. The Butters Zip Hoodie, produced with Italian lambskin creates an interesting infusion of materials and attention to detail. The 2007 Fall Collection offers a great variety of abstract designs combined with quality fits and construction.
