Last year saw the release of an exclusive collaboration between sports inspired No Mas and Puma on their The Lottery First Rounds. The two are at it again this year with four new versions on that same iconic First Round. A small number will release at UNDEFEATED Las Vegas on February 13th. The first rendition is themed after the LA Lakers with a black leather and purple embroidered lottery ball pattern. The sneakers also feature three sets of laces with No Mas lace tips. The Puma California has recently emerged from the archives of the popular German sportswear brand. Sneaker boutique Sportie LA joins the ranks of two other Californian inspired sneakers, the California Woody and the Dino Shop California. Shoebiz's Dino Shop X Puma California

Since 1979, San Francisco’s Shoebiz has been a sneaker option for many. Puma recently collaborated with Shoebiz’s second store Shoebiz II, also known as Dino Shop in reference to their dino mascot. The California model, themed after San Francisco’s public transportation Muni also includes references to the store such as a dino tongue tag and ‘79 on the heel (Shoebiz first opened it’s doors on Haight St. in 1979). Look for these to release next month.

The Puma California which was first released in 1982 was one of the cornerstones of the sportswear brand. Now reviving the California sneaker back from the dead, Puma will be releasing three styles which draw inspiration from rich Californian lifestyle. One of the three styles seen here is the “Cali Woody” which is themed after the classic 40’s station wagon known as the “Woody Wagon”. The shoe features the state of California on the tongue tag, there will be palm trees on the heel and a translucent surf board print on the sole. These will be limited in only 200 pairs and will be available only at the Puma retail shop in Santa Monica starting February 1st. Sneaker Freaker x Puma "Blaze of Glory" Collaboration

The magazine Sneaker Freaker, founded by Simon Wood aka. Woody has been around for quite a while. This year they have released their 11th issue of the magazine but that’s not all they’re going to release. It looks like there will be a collaboration sneaker in the works with Puma which you might have already seen on the cover of Sneaker Freaker issue #11. Now, thanks to Guillotine, here’s a better picture of the shoe which is dubbed “Blaze of Glory”. There is currently no word on release date yet but hopefully we can see these in stores soon.
