Although largely ignored, the southern hemisphere has become somewhat of an unknown playground for Burton team riders for the past 10 years. A new photo book documenting their exploits has been produced as photographers Dean “Blotto” Gray, Jeff Curtes and Adam Moran followed some marquee Burton riders such as Terje Haakonsen, Hannah Teter, Nicolas Muller, and Shaun White. Japanese photographer Yasumasa “Yone” Yonehara teamed up with condom brand sagamai original 0.02 in a campaign to promote safe sex and sagamai original’s 0.02 mm thick prophylactics. The characteristic semi-erotic styles of Yone are put to use over several posters seen here. Yone’s previous accolades include work with Upper Playground and the founder of Egg Magazine.

Photographer Michael Franzini’s 30,000 mile trek across America documented what’s it like for your average teenager in this hyper-connected and media driven society. In his book 100 Young Americans, one hundred teenagers were pulled from each state to offer their personal accounts from a plethora of social situations and locations.
