New month, new year, here’s what’s on tap this month from Nike Skateboarding for the month of January 2008. Among the releases are metallic silver Blazers (designed by Independant Truck Co.) which represents a set of skate trucks to keep things consistent with Nike’s deck theme, Gibson Guitar Case Dunk Lows, Boca Zoom Tres, P-rod IIs and Zoom Air Abbingtons. Available at your local SB account dealer.
You will most likely get bored of these and be so over them when they drop next Fall due to seeing them almost a year in advance. But here are some catalog shots of Nike SB’s 2008 Fall Collection. The scans include the SB staple of Dunks, Blazers, Harbors, Classic SB and P-rod II’s but also feature upcoming models such as the P-rod II High and Zoom Tre A.D. Although the scans are preliminary, there’s already been much talk about the Purple Dunk High’s aka Heavens Gate. Stay tuned for the real thing.

Here’s a look at what is rumored to be a follow up Jordan inspired Nike SB model to the original J-rod. The combination of Jordan-esque upper and Jumpman logo on the back of Paul Rodriguez’s first signature was a popular choice. Wait for more details regarding this drop but the Bulls colorway & cement is a decent indicator.

Nike SB has dropped an official look into their releases for the month of December. The themed release for this month include the Joe Strummer Dunk Low and the Embarco Dunk Mid. The Joe Strummer is inspired by the legendary The Clash frontman’s Fender Telecaster guitar and the beating it endured over the years. The Embarco Dunk Mid references the world famous San Francisco spot. A Regime and Blazer Low round out the December releases.
A further compliment of releases have arrived from Nike SB for the 2007 November Calendar. With a previous drop which yielded the likes of the Bloody Sunday and November Rain Dunks among others comes the Skate Mental Dunk Mid Premium created in conjunction with the San Fran based skate brand. Another release comes of epic jaw-dropping proportions, the Jihrod boot. The boot was designed by leading Nike designer Eric Avar. Both products are available now at GOODS.
Nike SB Brazil has just unveiled its Custom Series 02 Pico dos Sonhos Dunk Highs. Choosing three different skaters from the Nike SB Brazil team, each of them was given an opportunity to formulate their "dream spot". Each skater was paired up with an artist to conceptualize and put to canvas their respective ideas. The following pairings included the following, skater Rodrigo Petersen/Rimon Guimaraes, Cezar Gordo/Rafel Chavez and Fabio Cristiano/Luis Felipe Volpi&Caue Rodrigues. Enormous murals were created with the skaters ideas in mind. Each sneaker is limited to 480 pairs, with each pair including a different section from the mural effectively creating a very special and one of a kind sockliner for each pair of Dunk Highs.

As many of us have just rolled over the calendar to reflect a new month, Nike SB has previewed a number of releases set to take place through the course of November. Among the releases are the "Bloody Sunday" Dunk High, "November Rain" Dunk Mid, "Pigeon" P-rod II, and the Unitedfront pack of Zoom Air Harbor and Zoom Team Editions. The "Bloody Sunday" and "November Rain" were both designed by Nike SB’s Shawn Baravetto. Look for these to arrive at your local Nike SB dealer in coming weeks.
The Nike SB Dunk High Pro "Jason Voorhees" was a late drop as part of October’s round of Nike SB releases. Created as part of the "Halloween Pack", the Dunk High is inspired by slasher film super villain Jason Voorhees of the Friday the 13th series of movies. These Dunks should be available at your local Nike SB retailer.

Much of Nike SB’s October releases seem to have been overshadowed by the “What The Dunk” sneaker. The sneaker, something originally conceived as being fake was proved as legitimate with the debut of Nike SB’s big screen creation Nothing But The Truth. GOODS in Seattle recently received their shipment for October, which includes a “Deck” Dunk High, “Lebanon” Blazer, Air Zoom Tre and Air Classic SB. Check your local SB dealer for these arrivals.
As part of Nike Skateboarding’s October release, a new Dunk Low created by Takashi Hosokawa will be released. Back in 2003, Takashi also designed a Dunk Low with a similar black/gold colorway. This 2007 Takashi II features an off black leather upper with a suede toebox. Lasering can be seen on the back panels while a silver Swoosh and a heel tab are also highlights. Check your local SB dealer as these should be dropping within the this month.

One of the more anticipated Dunks from Nike SB has recently been released at the premier of Nike’s "Nothing But The Truth" film. Even though we showcased these Dunks in our "Nothing But The Truth" preview, here is a closer look at these crazy one of a kind sneaker. For this shoe, Nike SB has combined all the hypest Dunk SB’s ever made and mashed it together into one sneaker. If you take a closer look, you’ll find pieces from the Cali’s, the Pigeons, the Luckies and Unluckies, the Jedi’s, the Denims, the Bucks, the Supreme Hi’s and Lows, the Medicoms, the Huf’s, the Hemps, the Shanghai 1 and 2’s, and the Avengers. These probably won’t be available in your sneaker boutique and people have already put them on eBay for a really expensive price so good luck getting your hands on these.
