The 150 year old brand, Levi’s, is known for their denim but recently they have ventured into “Challenging Sports” with their Levi’s FLU collection. This line is created in conjunction with Takahiro Okazawa (CLS, CYCLE) and Ewan Reynolds (Playford).
For the first delivery of Levi’s FLU ‘08 Spring/Summer collection, they will be releasing a Mountain Sprong Jacket. This jacket is highly waterproof with water proof zippers and pocket. In addition it features a reflective dot pattern which makes it both functional and visually appealing. The jacket is now available at Elesco for 34,650 Yen.

Famed denim brand Levi Strauss, has branched out and caught onto the e-friendly trend. The company will be releasing a new side line of denim, made of 100% organic cotton. The line will include jackets, shirts and the obvious jeans.

A mainstay and still culturally relevant many years since its inception, Levi’s has long held the esteemed credit of being the face of denim. Their iconic range of models are captured in their Levi’s Vintage Clothing collection which revive some of Levi’s most popular models and cuts over the years. Some of their recent releases include the quintessential straight leg cut the 501 in models differing from year to year and a slimmer 505 model. Also included are t-shirt and denim packs which include a white Levi’s t-shirt alongside select denim. Available now at Hanon.
Kennyswork is founded by graphic designer and illustrator from Hong Kong, Kenny Wong. Kenny along with Winson and William has also founded Brothersfree which had collaborated with the likes of Nikon, Pringles and Lipton. Here’s the new collaboration between Levi’s, Bearbrick and Kennyswork. Together, they have created a pair of limited edition 523 which is themed after the Copperhead diver from Brothersfree. The denim features a crazy wash which looks like ripples in water. There’s also a ton of details including a black satin logo, copper rivets and more. This pair of 523 denim will be limited to 200 pieces and will cost $8,900 NT. You won’t find these in the states as they’re probably limited to Taiwan only.
There will also be a Bearbrick with this collaboration but no news on that so far.

The Levi’s Fenom line is an exclusive line that is only available at the store Tab Device in Japan. The line is most famous for their denim however their apparel collection is pretty nice as well. Here is the latest piece from their apparel collection which is a Combined Down Vest. They vest comes in two colors and retails for 30,000 Yen. Available now at Tab Device.
The last batch of pictures regarding the Levi’s x Jordan Brand 23 | 501 Collection didn’t really do the sneaker justice. Here’s the latest scoop on the monumental collaboration. Although the picture quality has improved, the printed cement denim still leaves a lot to be desired.

Levi’s and Porter are set to release a new series of bags and accessories. The collection features classic Porter styles such as the Boston bag, Tote Bag and Day Pack. Each bag is constructed of denim to keep in theme with the Levi’s collaboration. The products will release on January 8th at Levi’s Store. Previous products between the two brands included a pack which included wallets, bags and a ring seen here.
The Levi’s Fenom line is one of those brands that you’ve probably heard of if you’re a HYPEBEAST reader. If you haven’t, the Fenom line is a Japanese exclusive line curated by no other than global trend setter Hiroshi Fujiwara. 90% of the denim by Fenom features the famous Fragment Design logo printed on the back pocket. However, this not-yet-released pair of denim samples won’t have that logo. EDC shows us on his blog that this pair of denim will have dark green stitches as well as pink selvedge lining. We’re not sure when they will be releasing but if they are, it will be only at Japan’s Tab Device.
Levi’s Fenom has just released a new model of 505 denim encrusted with ruby colored Swarovski’s. The crystals can be seen in a floral pattern on the yoke and back pocket which are not the least bit effeminate. The denim is available at select Fenom dealers in Japan.

Hong Kong lifestyle company CLOT were one of the Asian brands chosen to be involved in Medicom Toy’s Bearbrick x Levi’s Artist Series. Their take on project was based on Edison Chen’s favorite fruits, watermelon and strawberries. Two Bearbrick designs were coupled with two matching t-shirt designs. The women set features the strawberry theme while the watermelon set is for guys. The shirts are packaged in special recycled envelopes as a more environmentally friendly approach based on Edison Chen’s previous experiences in Canada and the US. The t-shirt set (tee & 100% Bearbrick) is priced at $480 HKD (approximately $61 USD) while the 400% Bearbrick on it’s own is priced at $530 HKD (approximately $67 USD). Available now at Juice.
The Air Jordan I as part of the new Levi’s x Jordan Brand 23 | 501 Collection has been revealed. The sneaker which is at the crossroads of a monumental collaboration between two of America’s popular brands. The upper is comprised of printed denim with classic Jordan print with smooth red leather all-around.
