To celebrate hip-hop artist Wale’s rising success, music magazine Urb has stepped in to create a New Era 59FIFTY cap with the fledging artist. The cap is chock full of details from the intricate shoe lace logo on the front to numerous embroideries seen on the underbill and back. The DMV touch pays homage to Wale’s affiliations with DC/MD/VA. Urb is giving out a cap for each day of the week, for more details check out this link.

Hat purveyors Hall of Fame has teamed up with retro sports brand Mitchell & Ness on an upcoming three pack of hats inspired by Los Angeles’ professional sports teams. The likes of the (Los Angeles) Raiders, Lakers and Kings all feature different materials such as satin, suede and thermal. Available exclusively at Hall of Fame this weekend.
The Hundreds and their New Era tear continues with a total of 9 different hats releasing Friday morning. Well traveled photographer Craig Weatherby’s involvement with Seattle based Manik skateboards was revealed in an extensive collection of photo print tees and decks last season. Continuing on this theme, the two have paired up on a simple New Era cap. The outside visuals are minimalistic, however the silk lining features extensive photos of some of Weatherby’s photography. Two styles are available now at Caliroots.
When looking to design a series of New Era 59FIFTY caps for the re-launch of their magazine’s well-known Brainfloss feature, Transworld Skateboarding looked to who else but Benny Gold to produce two stellar hats. The custom tonal script mimics a pinstripe effect. Two hat colorways are inspired by San Francisco with black/orange and brown/gold to rep TWS’ hometown San Diego. Supreme just released some new items for its 2008 Spring/Summer Collection. The release offers a wide range of products including various 5-panel hats, short sleeve button-downs, sweaters, and sleeveless jerseys. All the products have very refreshing colors such as pink and light blue that reminds us of the spring look. It also uses a lot of plaid and stripe patterns to accentuate its pieces. Another strong release from Supreme as they keep it cool and casual.
The Hundreds from Los Angeles have released some New Era Fitted Caps using their brand’s mascot, the Adam Bomb. Coming in five colors, these New Eras feature the Adam Bomb stitched onto the front of the cap. Available now at The Hundreds.
For Reason’s 2008 Spring Collection, they got together with New Era and designed this Monster Plaid 5950 fitted cap. The cap consists of many different patterns with checkers, polka dots, and large plaid print.
