As part of the Citizen Alterna program, Japanese store United Arrows was given the opportunity to create a special watch with Citizen. The Citizen Alterna program involves four highly respected stores, each reinterpreting classic Citizen Eco-Drive styles. These stores include the aformentioned United Arrows, Beams, nano･universe and SHIPS. This particular United Arrows Citizen Alterna Eco Drive will retail for ￥34,650 (approximately $303 USD). Watchmakers Citizen recently collaborated with nano・universe to produce a special collaborative timepiece. The contemporary styling of the watch includes trademark Eco-Drive technology and a radio controlled function. Eco-Drive technology involves the use of solar power while the radio controlled function offers the ability to synchronize time with radio signals. The watch is currently available for pre-order at nano・universe. The price is set at ¥40,950 (approximately $348 USD).
